As you wander the streets of Nan Elmoth you come across a beautiful garden walled with white marble and filled with a variety of flowers of all colours.you can sometimes see the lady Ara here walking amid the palace garden and breathing the scent of the air.

Walking down the street from the pub:
Ara led Austin into the white walled gardens her face softly lit by the light of the waxing moon."these are the gardens of the city.one of the places I rebuilt after the war recently."she smiled at him and bent down to breath in the scent of a rose her facial expression peaceful and relaxed as she touched the softer petal's of the flower gently.

Ara looked at him her eyes mysterious in the moonlight.
"yes as Tinaldor put it this is a city of wars,battles,darkness and chaos..but not for very much longer.I would rather it be of happiness and peace.I have had enough of fighting battles which keep on coming even after the wars themselves are finished."she spoke softly.her voice filled with an emotion she had not felt for a long time.she stopped her eyes wide with suprise and suddenly laughed quietly."I doubt however that that will happen anytime soon what with Mordor preparing for war against Eru knows what."she stopped again and relaxed realizing how tense she was about that.

Ara nodded."yes peace between the kingdoms is fragile even now because of how many wars Nan Elmoth and the dark cities and the other kingdoms have had.it will destory that peace if another war happens which knowing Tinaldor Nenharma it will."she slipped the sheathes for her daggers off of her wrists and the scars of her past showing she set them nearby on a bench and looked up at the stars and back to Austin her eyes betraying the calmness she felt emotionally.

he sighed
"If you want peace, prepare for war"
he walked over to the bench and removed his cloak, putting down his sword, his bow and his daggers with it

Ara nodded and said softly:"aye..that is about the only way of getting peace."she smiled ruefully and shook her head."I came out here to get away from tension and chaos in the pub...now here I am speaking of the wars to come."she sighed and moved her hair away from her face and sat down on the grass looking up at the moon.

Ara lay half curled on her side watching Austin a faint light in her eyes as she looked up at the moon remembering a time when she would do this for hours at Rivendell."I remember a time of happiness before all of these wars and battles started..I was a young girl barely beginning my training in the army.it was peaceful then."she spoke softly remembering the training and everything it had taken her to get to the rank of Captain.

Ara returned his gaze her thoughts becoming slightly confused."why am I so attracted to him?is it because he helped me or otherwise?why do I find myself studying him so often?and why when I kissed his cheek feel like I wished to be with him?"she breathed in the scent of the flowers nearest her and relaxed.she felt a slightly chill breeze begin to blow and sighed slightly as she looked at Austin and drew her light cloak tighter about her shoulders.

he smiled back at her, wondering what was going through her head but at the same time fighting with a million and one questions, he shivvered alittle as the cold breeze blew but fought it off, still watching her

Ara saw him shiver slightly and said quietly:"are you as cold as I am Austin?for all the beauty this dress offers it gives no warmth."she shivered again and laid her head on her arms tired from the day she had had today.she kept her eyes on Austin and slowly but surely felt herself falling asleep in the cold night air.

Austin nodded, he was feeling cold too, he saw her fall asleep and got up,
cant let her stay like this, its too cold
he walked over to her and picked her up in his arms, he then put his heavy travelling cloak over them both, he then sat back down on the bench, cradling her while using their cloaks to help combine body heat, he sat with her like that for an hour, just watching her sleep within the warmth of the cloak before falling asleep himself
