Austin sat in the branches of a nearby tree, reading a book. both the book and the tree were his favourites and he loved to spend hours just sat in the gardens, even after dark his excellent eye sight allowed him to read by the starlight, without looking up from the book he spoke to the night elf in elvish "hail and well met Targuhl, what brings you to these gardens so late?"

The hunter had not seen Austin in his perch, despite his usual watchfulness. he respectfully addressed the Dark Elf.
Lord, I am in need of armour suitable for one of my rank as an elven prince, I know that the armouries of Moria once held beautiful war-gear, but I do not, despite my many wanderings, know the way to the now forsaken kingdom. Will you lead me there?

Austin smiled "That i can do, it's a long ride but i dont see that it's a journey we cannot take"

A memory struck Austin "oh damn..." he shook his head "I have another quest to prepare for, my apologies but i cannot be embarking on this one; i have to prepare a team to track the demons, i can however offer you the services of any guide in my kingdom at no charge"

I am also on this quest Lord, by the request of the Lord Tinaldor. That is why I asked that we make utmost haste. Do you think we cannot make the Mines before Tinaldor is ready to leave?

"I very much doubt we could" he sighed "I can offer you the services of Nan Elmoth's armourer if you'd like?"

Thankyou Lord, and it is gratefully accepted. I had no idea the people of Nan Elmoth were skilled in the making of arms. I shall oversee the forging, if we have little time I must find the Armourer immediately.

The haunter set off at an almost unmatchable pace. he was at the armourer's in no time at all.
The next day...
Targuhl returned with a large bundle. Austin had gone.
The Prince unwrapped the bundle and lay its contents on the floor, under the tree. A pair of greaves, vanbraces, rerebraces, guissards, and a breastplate shone in the evening sun. They were made of the brightest mithril on Middle-Earth, so as to look white. they were etched all over with beautiful leaf patterns, resemlbing the tattoos that the hunter bore on his entire body. the inside was etched with spells, promoting health, speed, stealth and death to The Haunter's enemies. A sheaf for his long-sword, sheafs for his knives, and a quiver full of brand new arrows had also been fashiones for Targuhl. They were made of a beautifully rich coloured wood, finished with black-tempered mithril. They were set with burning emeralds. The Hunter's chain-mithril hauberk was coloured to look green. The belt was leather of as similar hue to the wood on the sheafs and quiver, the mithril buckle was shaped like a leaf, also green. A silver crownlet had been forged for the Targuhl's head, it was set with three emerald's. The Dawneater quietly undressed down to his tunic, shirt and leggings and put on his new armour. He wrapped his old clothes in a bundle and put his great old coat on over all. The Dawneater then set off for Mordor to meet the rest of the party...
