Eldarieth smiled at Fen'thik as he waited for Azrael. "I will come with you, if that is alright? Afterwards i will do what i can to comfort those left behind.."

Azrael smiled and walked downstairs to stand before the men of Gondor.
“Soldiers!... Friends!... Brothers!... We are about to be tested beyond our imaginations on how hard we can fight when our lives are hanging from but a mere thread. Those of you who consider yourself unfortunate that you are part of this… They are thinking foolishly. Our enemy remains unknown to us, and are hell bent on our destruction. No matter where we hide, they will find us and do what they can to kill us. By marching today we’re changing the rules of war. We aren’t foolishly risking our lives on the battlefield… No! We're fighting for the chance that we might stay alive. This time, and hopefully only this time, fighting would be considered the safer option. We’re fighting for another opportunity to see our friends… Our loved ones… To be able to share our stories while drinking a pint in the pub… And for a chance to live the lives we’ve planned for without fear of the shadows that lean over us as we spent day after day ignoring the threat. I ride with you today to pass through the shadow and darkness that we can’t see through, and take hold of the light at the other side where we aren’t blind, and where we will be safe. That light represents our hope to live. We can’t have that hope if we don’t reach for it. Those who don’t want to fight for their lives today but want to die another way of their choosing you may leave now. No one will stop you.”
He paused. No one made even the smallest movement that might suggest that they as much as questioned whether they want to leave or not. They all stood firm. Azrael spoke again.
“Thank you my brothers… My equals… For remaining loyal to me through the hottest of fires and the coldest of ice. Now!... LET US PROVE TO OUR FOES THE MIGHT OF GONDOR!”
After the last sentence the men of Gondor let out an earthshaking shout. Azrael felt a tear fall down his cheek.
Such loyaltie... He thought to himself. Azrael turned to Fen'thik.
"Fen'thik? Your turn."

Fen'thik stood before his men and smiled.
"Let us make our own custom kebabs!" Fen'thik yelled to them all. The men of Gondor cheered.
Fen'thik approached his leftenants and told them to bring half the force whilst leaving the rest behind. They were only to take five trebuchets under Azrael's orders.

Azrael ordered Fen'thik to lead out the men. Azrael himself mounted his horse. He smiled to Eldarieth Ar-londiel, and caught up with Fen'thik.
Farewell...

Eldarieth stood still, but then raised her hand in farewell, head held high, determined to show courage for her people.

Azrael waved back. When he caught up with Fen'thik, he spoke to him and explained his plan...

Eldarieth wanted to run up to the highest tower so that she could watch until she could see no more, but she knew she must get on with her duties. She slowly turned her back on them and walked very slowly down the stairs.
