Towering high above, cragged, cruel and black walls look down. The magnificently contructed malevolent gates stand as a symbol of absoloute power to the outside world. Tinaldor stood amongst a group of soldiers, 300 strong stealth ready Dark Elves and Orcs, and also in a cage a little way north, guarded by 8 Uruks, was the Demon, ready to be released. Fully kitted out in light leather armour, a magnificent longbow and quiver, and a longsword at his side, he was ready for this venture. He stood, awaiting the arrival of the three rulers, Aerianeth, Azrael, and Austin, as well as The Dawneater.

Targuhl arrived from Nan Elmoth, where he had just had his new armour forged.[OOC: if you want a description of my armour then go to the Gardens of Nan Elmoth, I can't be bothered to repeat it all but its basically all white with loads of spells and junk.]He was wearing his new gear underneath his worn dark borwn cloak. His bow and quiver were, however slung about his shoulders on the outside of his cloak, ready for use. The Hunter looked fresh and eager, happy to be doing what he loved.
Good day Lord Tinaldor, and what a fine day it is, perfect for a hunt!

Azrael approached Tinaldor and Targuhl, but didn't say anything. He just bowed. He was eager to see this as the last battle.

"Indeed it is fine for a hunt. Let us hope the weather reflects in our luck."
He smiled and nodded to Azrael.
" just the other two now, then we can begin..."

Austin rode in ahead of his elite core "Hail and well met" he called to the others before getting off of his horse and striding over to the group "Fine day for a sneaking" he commented jovially

Tinaldor smiled a little more as his brother rode in.
"Well met! And you bring with you a fine group of Elves!"
He laughed at Austins comment.
"Well if thats what we shall call it, shall we get to it, or wait for the lady of Rivendell?"

Austin looked at the sky "Give her another few minutes and then we'll start" he replied, time was of the essence but they did have a few minutes to spare

Ara appeared nearby Austin.a soft smile curving her lips."Hail and well met my lords.I couldn't miss out on thi battle could I?"she grinned as her soldiers rode up behind her.she then threw back her cloak and revealed the long sword of silver strapped to her back.the sapphire pendant and head band glimmering in the light.she then bowed to Tinaldor and Austin both.a soft sparkle in her eyes as she looked at the men she had a special part in her heart for.she then smiled slightly,a light of battle in her eyes and aura.

Austin wrapped his arms around Ara "welcome my love" he turned to the others and spoke, his voice carrying the air of command he'd grown used to "right, form up, we'll use the troops as a reserve incase we are either ambushed or spotted, i need a volunteer to lead them" he chuckled, knowing he was unlikely to get any takers on that front "the smaller team we try and track this demon with the better chance we will have of being successful"

"Do you not have officers within your ranks?" Azrael asked Austin, wondering why there wouldn't be.

Austin chuckled "I do but i feel the leadership of one of us would benefit the reserve better than the leadership of one of my officers alone; if none of you are willing to lead the reserve than i guess it will have to be one of my officers"

Targuhl sensed that his Liege Lord was testing his loyalty, he may be paranoid, but he knew that most of the people he met would never fully trust him, not to begin with anyway. The Prince felt it best to comply with Austin's implied command. This was just one hunt out of many that he could sacrifice, there would be other times to prove himself before the King of Gondor and the Dark Lord of Mmordor.
I will command your army Austin. Tinaldor must be on this hunt because he is hosting it, your fair lady should be with you, and a man, great and noble though he may be, Targuhl bowed slightly to Azrael, may not easily command elves. I shall follow you at a distance and set up camp at the first likely spot when after nightfall. Do not worry, Lord, I am not unused to commanding armies.

Austin smiled and patted Targuhl on the back, his sacrifice would not go un-noted or un-rewarded "thank you" he turned to his second in command of his elite core "You and the others will follow the Dawneater's instructions as if they were my own, is that understood?" the elf nodded and saluted him, Austin turned back to Targuhl "I am not worried, you have my trust... just make sure the distance is so far the demon may not see you, the last thing we need is it spooked by a massive warhost" he added, more paranoid about the fate of his plan than of his men, he knew he could trust Targuhl. Another idea struck him as he turned back to the others "I have an extension to this plan; so we may co-ordinate our efforts, i suggest we use a runner system between us and the support unit so that we do not lose track of each other"

As the Lady Ara, appeared, he bowed low in respect to her. There was still a twinkle in her eye, obvious though because of the newly born child, but part of him also worried the group would get too big. Nevertheless Austin lead the venture, and therefore he would act as a soldier, only stepping in if need be. He chuckled at Ara's eagerness for battle.
" Well, there will not be battle for some time. This will very much be guerilla warfare, focused upon wearing them down and frustrating them. But seeing as you are here, we now have enough troops to begin. I shall leave the co-ordination of Middle-Earth's armies in Procneus' hands whilst I am absent. "
Tinaldor was impressed by Targhul's willingness to lead the reserves. It would be interesting to see if this elf would prove his leadership...
" Very good Austin, a good idea. Lets get the men together, then perhaps a speech from yourself is in order?"

The Dawneater Took his place at the head of the reserve unit, and on the left side. He spoke to Austin's second-in-command, feeling it necessary to get to know him a bit. He seemed like a very competent officer, and loyal to his master's command. That was good. Targuhl surveyed the forces, they looked like grim, war-bitten soldiers, experienced, unafraid, and highly skilled. That was good. he would enjoy leading this, the most highly skilled army in Middle-Earth.
