Tinaldor followed after. "pull together 325 men each to be in the party following us. make sure each one is skilled in stealth, and archery. Then meet back here. "

Azrael sighed.
"I have none. All Gondor's rangers are either dead or missing... Or even just hiding. Austin?"

"I'm sure Nan Elmoth can spare 325 men; i trained most of them myself so they should be good at stealth and archery" replied Austin, following

"Oh good!" Azrael commented.
"I suggest Austin lead this little escapade, seeing that he is the most experienced in sneaking around."

"I agree, stealth is more his forte. Let us be going then! I'm off to the officers mess to pick my men. " He saluted his two friends with a fist to his chest. "May fortune go with you." Turning he strided down the corridors towards the door, 4 guards filing in as he walked past them.

Azrael also left the room, and shortly found himself outside the walls of Mordor. He decided to stroll around a little, being the fact that at the moment he had nothing to accomplish.

"Any thoughts on the outcome of this?" Azrael asked Austin, as he walked aimlessly around.

Seeing that the lords were talking of matters that didn't concern him, Targuhl waited outside in the shadows of the corridor. When he thought that the lords were finished he hid himself, not so much as not to be spotted by someone who looks, but just enough for his purposes, being unseen, or at least unnoticed, by the two men. he hoped Tinaldor would spot him, when he did the Dawneater nodded toward the study and raised his eyebrows. Tinaldor nodded almost imperceptibly and walked off. The Thief then slipped quietly onto a chair in the corner of the room, after the conversing men had gone.

Tinaldor spotted the blot in the shadows, and seeing him emerge, and motion him towards the study, he followed the sluethy character. " Indeed youve been a character thats eluded me for a long time. But i deem i have much to learn from you. Speak."

I am sorry Lord for my lateness, but when I got here it seemed you had other things to speak of, so I waited. But now i have pressing news for you, and, from what I've heard, for your human allies.
Tinaldor, I have come from the far Kingdom of Elnaroth, now probably naught but ashes. The Prince sighed as he remembered his long-missed home. I have journeyed far and wide, seeing much and learning much of the world, despite my comparative youth. Although he had outlived over 600 lifespans of men, the Hunter still regarded himhself as young, especially when in the company of noble immortals, this was learned wisdom. And I have seen and fought with te demons you fear. Believe me, they are worthy enemies, at least they fight well and hard, but they are sick, they remind me of the most corrupted of elves, mixed with the hollowness of corrupted Maiar. I came here by accident, a happy accident, as I have found the first semblance of civilisation since my, er, my exile. Targuhl shuddered as he remembered how he was disinherited of the throne of his people, and falsely accused of the murder and rape of his own mother. He felt like retching, or weeping, but suppressed the emotion. I see you already have had encounters with the wretched demons, but do not know their strengths, or weaknesses. You believe they are killed by water, they are not, but it weakens them, so they flee when it rains. They are, however, not as strong as you think, they can be bitten with the blade, and certainly they are not imperviuos to magic. Their primary strength is in numbers, which are almost firghtening when you think of it. Almost. I hear you want to track and attack them, a wise move. Please though, I have great skil in tracking these creatures, let me join your hunt. You may ask anything of me to prove myself, but let me get my eyes on the path, please.

Tinaldor nodded as Targhul apologised, then listened intently as he spoke. He could sense a real wisdom in Targhul, something unusual for someone his age. Tinaldor nodded as he mentioned the corruption of elves and maiar, this indeed seemed a right comparision. To have experience of fighting these two though, he must be more then meets the eye... perhaps of an age old blood line blessed by the immortal gods. He became more interested when he spoke of their weakness. He seemed to have experience of the demons too. This could be very useful. " Stranger, because such you are to me, do you know where these.. creatures base themselves? For we have one captured and intend to follow it, but it would be better if we had a guide who was more... reliable. We captured it when we fought the demons, outside of Isengard, a great fort under the rule of a Maiar, Mithrandir is his name. We defeated them there, but with great loss, as did we too when our human allies defeated a larger force outside the large walls of Minas Tirith. But we cannot afford to lose such numbers anymore, so tracking seemed wise. As much as i do not know you, perhaps this is an oppurtunity to prove yourself to me... for as you may find, it is Mordor that holds the power in this Middle Earth. We have many enemys, but myself and my queen defeat them all, and now they respect and fear our might.. I hope you can learn to do the same. So i would very much like you to come. For stealth is what we need, and i deem what you do. A Beren of our times."

Indeed stealth is your best weapon against the Demons, for now. I am afraid I have not yet found their main base, I have attacked numerous outposts and dens, but no-where large enough to accomadate for large armies. Maybe they have no such place, but this is unlikely to me, they do not communicate much, and would have difficulty getting a large number of warriors ready to fight if they wren't close to one another. Also, their commanders, those that I have watched, love luxury and comfort, and would not live in the field unless necessary. I have never enciuntered any commander high enough in rank to make a good guess of this though. My, er, dealings with the demons have always, by nature of my profession and lifestyle, been on a more, ah, intimate scale.
I would relich the chance to hunt this prisoner of yours back to his home though. The Demon Army's grave-filling lower ranks are never clever enough to suspect the slightest amount ofstrategy, they leave their nobles to do the brain work.
One question though, Lord. Why do you have any dealings with these, things, at all? I have not known them to attack beings who are armed and trained before, indeed, all the Demons I have come across have seemed very cowardly when confronted with warriors of skill, I do not understand why they would attack in such a way as you have described.

" We have reason to believe that something is leading the demons to wipe all other life from this Middle- Earth. My guess would be an outside force. All we know is they attacked in numbers, without reason, and with evil intent."
