Having to react quickly to the suprising speed of the attacks, he countered the lunge with a side step and pushing his own sword outwards against it, causing it to divert beside him. He then swept the blade upwards, deflecting the two rapid slashes aimed at his torso. Seeing the move to take out his legs, he jumped over the blade, and deftly brought his own sword crashing towards Azrael's shoulder. Ducking, expecting Azrael to now swing his sword high, he turned his blade and swept it upwards towards his torso, then standing straight and strong, he thrust it outwards with a curl of his wrist towards his stomach.

Azrael leapt aside to dodge the strike Tinaldor had swing down on him, but seeing that it was a feint attack expecting him to swing upwards, Azrael easily blocked the second blow. Azrael spun Tinaldor's sword with his own, until they were both in front of them, and a deadlock ensued.
"Most people would be dead by now," Azrael chuckled, being the fact only about ten seconds had passed since they started battling.

Tinaldor laughed, and grinned with gritted teeth. " But I've only just begun" Aiming swift kick at his feet, hoping to take him at unawares, he released his weapon, faked to move to strike his right shoulder with the sword, but instead in a swift movement changed sword hands, and coursed his sword to the left shoulder instead, in a downward fluid strike.

Azrael was surprised by the quick kick at Azrael's leg, and only managed to move one of them out the way. He almost lost balance when his left leg was taken out by Tinaldor's kick, but he managed to put all his weight on his right.
Azrael fell for the feint attack, and only just managed to block the second.
Careful Azrael... Mistakes like this could finish you off...
Azrael kept Tinaldor's blade at the height it was with his own blade, and seperated his two swords, so he could swipe at Tinaldor's neck, whilst keeping Tinaldor's sword out the way.
"Block that," Azrael said aloud.

Tinaldor had to react to seeing the blade move towards his neck fast, he had not expected Azrael to disconnect his swords. He was now at a disadvantage, and he hated fighting on the back foot. He had to step up his movement, which he knew he had bettered. Spinning at the last moment to the left, he span round Azrael, almost using him as a pivot. Upon reaching his back, he backflipped over Azrael's head, aiming a strike at his sure helmet as he went, and landed with a little space in front of him.

Azrael smiled when he saw Tinaldor move swiftly to avoid the strike.
Very good...
Azrael decided to try something new. When Tinaldor made the strike against Azrael, he pretended he was going to block it with his sword, but instead dodged out the way so that Tinaldor had an unexpected swing. Azrael took advantage, and swung both his swords parallel to each other. One aiming for Tinaldor's upper torso, and the second for his lower.

Aha new tactic..
Tinaldor has expected another change. Although somewhat suprised by the unexpected swing, he allowed the two swords to be aimed at him, instead at the last moment diving flat forward between Azrael's astride legs, and rolling onto his feet, aiming a swift back hand slice with his blade as he swept onto his feet.

Azrael had to move quickly to stop the attack, and blocked Tinaldor's blade with one of his swords whilst stilll facing the wrong direction.
He spun out of it, and came down on Tinaldor's head with his second sword, before back spinning the first sword to slash his neck again.

Seeing for a brief moment that he had held the advantage, he side stepped the second sword aimed at his head, and at the last minute, changed sword hand back to his right, and blocked the swipe of the first, and slid his sword down Azrael's sword arm, hoping that he would block it.

Azrael blocked the attack, and pushed against Tinaldor's sword with his own, knocking them both back a step. Azrael lowered his stance, breathing heavily.
"You are a superb fighter," Azrael commented.

You both are I'm sure.
Targuhl had watche dthe entire engagement, the parit had been at it only a couple of minutes, but time was pressing, at least, his patience was waining.
My lords, I am itching to begin the hunt, show me your prisoner, that I may mark his stare, and that he may know me, The Cradle-Thief.
The Dawneater mentioned the nickname tongue-in-cheek, but shuddered at its innotations nonetheless.

"Lets call it a draw my friend. This was indeed.... superb. Your skills are great Azrael. But come, lets us lead him to the prisoner, shall we?"

"Lead the way," Azrael replied.

Tinaldor nodded, and started walking north west. " The creature is being held in the Tower. What you may see in there may make you despair. Try to... ignore what you see?"

Azrael made a mental note to stare at the floor for the whole journey.
"I don't think we've been introduced my lord," Azrael said to Targuhl.
"I am Azrael of Gondor."
