yes, I'll be keeping her in check as well.
And i would have you stay out of this fight anyway, it is too dangerous. I could not afford to lose you, ever.
*he held her hand and kissed it*

[Ara]

Ara looked at Tinaldor and touched his cheek gently with her hand.she smiled at him and said:"as of this moment I do not wish to be in battle, but whoever keeps trying to kill us is going to force me to take actions for my protection of our child."she took in a breath and leaned against Tinaldor gently resting a hand upon her stomach.
Geran watched her daughter and saw exactly how much she had been through in the years since she had left Ara at Rivendell.she noticed Ara appeared to be well but she knew she was probably exhausted from sleepless nights.she sent out a thought to her:"Ara are you all right?you seem rather tired."Ara looked quickly at her mother and replied:"I'm all right.not feeling very well though...I think thats part of the morning sickness." "yes.but it will pass in time." "I hope so...it is not pleasant waking up every morning feeling ill."Geran muffled a quiet laugh and Ara looked over at her mother with a "what did I get myself into this time?"expression on her face.Geran reached over and took her daughter's hand gently in her own.

[Tinaldor]

He suppressed a grin, hearing their minds conversation.
Maybe ara had forgotten that.
He sent a thought out to the two women.
at this rate i should just lock her in her room and post guards around it.
He grinned.
but knowing her she'd find a way out...

[Ara]

Ara grinned at Tinaldor and sent a thought back to him:"I would find a way out love.you know me far too well sometimes."she laughed quietly and kissed him on the lips gently.Geran smiled and watched her daughter with Tinaldor she remembered a time when Ara had not been born yet and she and Kastel had been as in love as those two were.she had been unaware of Kastel's plan to kill Ara's son untill her daughter had told her of it.

[Tinaldor]

Tinaldor winced at this thought. turning sharply to Geran, he spoke to her with a hint of worry.
"Kastel knew of Ara's child before it was conceived? how is that possible, unless he has studied the stars. Who was this man?"

[Ara]

Geran looked at Tinaldor and said:"perhaps Ara would be better to explain her father to you.she saw much more of him than I did."she looked at Ara and met her daughter's eyes.
Ara spoke softly, her voice emotionless:"Kastel Dunami once wore the ruby pendant but he lost it when he left this place,he was also known as Vacan Serision,the man who watched me and made me his apprentice in training for battle.I did not know of that at the time.and mother was still in Rivendell or wandering around somewhere,Kastel knew of my child because my grandmother told of it when I was born and he over heard her telling that to my mother."
Ara turned away and Geran moved to her side sending a thought to her daughter:"Ara dont be afraid to let your feelings of your father show to those around us and dont be afraid to acknowledge your emotions in certain times." Ara steadied herself against the table and a sudden vision came into her mind.
she sat upon the edge of a bed in Rivendell with an older women who appeared to be ill.
the women spoke quietly:"the child in your womb shall bear a son to the ruler of a dark kingdom.and he shall take up rulership there after his father."
the scene changed and she stood upon a balcony Kastel stood beside her and said,his voice low with anger and frustration:"your child's child shall not take up rulership of Nan Elmoth!he will be dead before I ever leave to the halls of Mandos.and if then I shall return and kill him while he is still enwombed."
she let out a startled gasp and said coldly:"this childs son is of no business of yours Kastel Dunami and even if you return I will protect that child with my life and my child shall do the same now get out!" "but-" "get out!"
she sank to the bed and sobbed into her hands...
Ara returned to herself and swayed on her feet.Geran slid a hand under her arm and said:"now you see,Ara,why I kept you shielded untill now. you were not ready when Kastel revealed your son's future to you."Ara shuddered and said:"he is not dead,I-I can't lose this child."Geran guided her over to a chair and sat down next to her.she held her daughters hands in her own and gently took her in her arms .Ara felt the world around her going dark and she collapsed in Geran's arms.

[Tinaldor]

*Tinaldor rushed over to her side, and grabbed her*
someone, please get a healer!
Im not going to lose a wife, or a child today if i can help it!

[Ara]

(this is in Geran's point of view since Ara is in a word 'asleep'.)
Geran looked at Tinaldor and said softly:"she will not die.true she may be ill but she knows she is needed in this world right now and she is needed by many people first and foremost you Tinaldor."she took her daughter's hand in her own and laid a hand on her forehead.Ara stirred restlessly and Geran sent a thought to her:"Ara how do you feel now?" "augh.I hate having visions.my head is pounding." "it will go away after a while...are you aware you are running a slight fever?" "oh yes I've been aware of that for quite sometime.I generally run higher than normal but this one is different..." "yes.it is.Tinaldor called for a healer and he should be here any moment now." "good tell Tinaldor I am awake in mind not in body right now." "he probably knows but I will let him know dear." Geran motioned the healer over to where they were and said quietly:"she collapsed and it appears to be from combined shock and a high fever.." "all right I will do what I can to heal her."Geran took her daughter's hand in hers again.

[Tinaldor]

Tinaldor looked worried at the healer.
"what about the child? will it be okay?"
He kissed ara softly, hoping that she would awake soon.

[Ara]

Ara opened her eyes to see Geran leaning over her with concern upon her face.she coughed and looked at her husband and spoke softly her voice weak:"the child is fine my love.no harm came to it except me scaring the living daylights out of you two."she coughed again and Geran spoke quietly:"yes you very nearly scared the next seven years out of me when you collapsed."she looked at her daughter and gently sqeezed her hand.Ara sat up slowly.her hand pressed to her forehead and another steadying herself.

[Tinaldor]

"please try not to do that again if you can help it. you scared the hell out of me."
He hugged her tightly, not wanting to even think that thought.

[Ara]

"I cannot promise you anything about that Tinaldor.having visions is a side effect of wearing the sapphire pendant..."Ara coughed quietly again and then got herself to where she could sit leaning against Tinaldor gently.she lowered her head to his shoulder and said:"I really dislike having visions it does horrible things to your head."she gently massaged her temples and forced herself to where she could relax her shoulders enough to get comfortable.

[Tinaldor]

"then dont wear the pendant! if its hurting you so badly, then dont wear it.."
"now turn around"
turning her around, he started massaging her shoulders for her.
"wow, your very tense!"

[Ara]

"Tinaldor you know as well as I do that I cannot take it off I am bound to it in this task.there will come a time when I may.but that is not now my love."Ara felt him massaging her shoulders and said:"yes another part of the visions."she gently brought her hand up to his cheek and said:'' just as I am pledged to the pendants.I am pledged to you Tinaldor and I will honor that pledge for eternity my love."she kissed him and laid her head against his shoulder wishing she could do as he had told her but she knew if she gave up the pendant now she would be killed before her task was fulfilled.

[Tinaldor]

Tinaldor had known the answer she would give, but had hoped that maybe, just maybe, she could give it up. But she could not. He would try and forget the fear that pendant awoke in him. Kissing the top of her head, he laid his head against hers and sighed
"i know.... i just wish thats all."
