Here is where the men of Gondor are enlisted and trained. Warriors may also come here when they wish to train or just to show off.

Azrael came into the grounds and walked up tp the officer in charge with two wooden swords in hand.
Ok, just to make sure I still have it in me. Azrael thought.
"Captain? Call fourteen of the best warriors of Minas Tirith of your choice, and try to defeat me."
The captain looked freaked at first, but giving it time to sink in he left to fetch the warriors.
Ten minutes later the captain returned, finding Azrael standing where he left him. The captain ordered the warriors to surround Azrael, which they did so obediently. Azrael's grip on his wooden swords grew tighter. He took his stance and waited patiently with his eyes closed.
The captain ordered three of them to attack. They raised their weapons and charged at Azrael.
Too aggressive and clumsy. Azrael thought to himself as he heard them coming.
As they came within striking distance, Azrael jumped horizontally with his head level with his feet to avoid both the high and low attacks made by the warriors. Before he landed he lashed out with his swords, catching two of the warriors off guard. They played dead as the third reposed himself. Azrael waited for his attack, but he didn't dare incase he lowered his guard. The other twelve warriors were circling around Azrael, coming closer every step. Azrael attacked the warrior in front of him with his left handed sword, which he parried, but with his right handed sword Azrael twirled and plunged it straight into the gut of him. He played dead with the other two fallen.
Azrael didn't smile. He had a sort of angry expression... His fighting expression. He had no thoughts of feeling running through his head, only thoughts of analysis and what his next move was going to be.
The captain looked surprised at the ease in which Azrael had dropped three of Minis Tirith's best warriors. He ordered them all to charge.
Azrael made a quick thought to himself:
An impatient move... You will regret doing such a thing on the battlefield.
Azrael parried, jumped and dodged every blow sent his way as graceful as leaves in the wind. He tricked two of them into striking each other. He fought on without showing any sign of exhaustion, dropping five more one after the other. Once a way was clear, Azrael handspringed up to the wall, and faced his opponent again. Azrael and the remaining four warriors with the captain stared each other down.
Come on... What's your next move?
Azrael saw a confusion in the eyes of his opponent on what to do next, and took advantage. He used the wall to propell him, and with both feet dived from the wall through his opponents. Each of the four warriors parried Azrael's attack, but his main strike was focused on the captain, whom didn't have a chance. He dropped and played dead with the other fallen warriors. Azrael flexed his swords, whilst the other four warriors, with no one to direct them, moved to attack Azrael. Azrael reversed their moves with ease, as if he knew what they were going to do before they did it. Every one of them were flung to the floor with their failed attacks, save the last one, whom Azrael struck down with both swords.
Azrael still remained focused.
Mustn't grow confident now...
Azrael charged through the three remaining men, attacking and turning at eachone as he went through them. He deflected the first twos defencive blows with his swords, bringing them inwards, but as he passed them, he struck outwards at the back of their necks. Azrael ducked the last warriors attack as he was bringing his swords back, and with both of them he plunged upwards into the remaining warriors gut.
Around him, the men started to stand up again. The captain looked a little annoyed that his men couldn't handle Azrael, but Azrael was smiling.
"You've made good progress captain, well done." Azrael then took his leave feeling satisfied. The captain looked bewildered.
It's good to know that I'm still as good at this as ever. The warriors were impressive too... Even though I could've been eating breakfast at the same time as beating them. As long as we're all prepared for the worst...
Azrael walked passed the door of the grounds.

Eldarieth met Azrael as he left the 'training' session with the captain and his best men. She handed him a tall glass with cold sweetened water. "Not bad Az! Good to see you didn't forget your training while you were away" she said teasingly. "But you mustn't upset them so! That captain may not take it so lightly!" she laughed softly.

Azrael smiled, and accepted the water.
"You speak to the point."
Azrael walked back into the grounds.
"Captain? For your efforts, you and your men will get a pay rise. Well done, you impressed me!"
Azrael turned back to his sister.
"Will that do?" Azrael asked, feeling unsure.

Eldarieth laughed
"I was only saying! I merely meant that their pride may be slightly upset by your astonishing defeat of them! But they admire you all the more for it. They will follow you into battle with courage, knowing that you lead them"

"And we will follow them into battle with courage, knowing that they trust us."

Eldarieth smiled "Yes..you will.." Eldarieth hoped she was not showing her emotions too openly. She couldn't believe that Azrael would be leaving again! and so soon..

Azrael noticed a small change in Eldarieth Ar-londiel's emotions.
"I'm sorry," He said.

Eldarieth smiled feebly. "It is not i you should feel sorrow for, but those mothers, wives, sisters and daughters who will be loosing their loved ones" she said softly, hating the cause of war.

"Aye... But for now we must focus on how to fight whilst keeping as many alive as possible. If we focus our losses before they happen, we will suffer."

"At least the men have you leading them. We will all feel the better, knowing you are also going into battle"

Azrael smiled. It is not often that someone gives him the feeling that he makes them feel better. He usually got the opposite impression.
And I will do my best, He thought to himself.
"I'm glad that I can trust you to keep Gondor safe whilst I'm gone."

"And that I know only too well. But do not aim to get into a position that it would be needed! I hope that your plan will be enough..."
