As you stroll down the paved streets of Imladris, you come to a house almost as quaint as the one that was once inhabited by the Lord Elrond. The door is one of an antiqued and is intricately carved. When you walk in, you see quaint tables set in front of a hearth that has a roaring fire. There are firstborn sitting all about the room. You notice one with long black hair and a commanding presence. He walks over to you and smiles warmly. "I am Lord Telarath of Rivendell, mellon nin. Please make yourself at home and have all that you wish for refreshments."

As the pretty elf maiden strolled though the gardens towards the pub she hoped she would find some comfort in a drink. The ride had worn her out but sleep still felt to far off for her liking, in her experience a little drink of something stronger than the tea she drank throughout the day would be just the sleep aid she needed, though she doubted that she would find ale in the valley. Maybe later in the year when the snows had retreated back up to the higher passes and the road to Khazad dum was easier for the traders to bring their carts along.
She pushed on the light wooden door ad stepped inside… she nearly stepped straight back out gain when she realised was it lord Telarath standing close to the Bar. Not that Élrawas often intimidated but she had not even considered she might be greeting new ruler on her first day back in the valley it though all her thought from her mind and gripped at her stomach as she made her way across the room towards him. The hem of her long flowing skirt bushing across the dusty ground as her bare feet felt the warm grain of the wooden boards that she walked on. Her hair was pulled up in to a high ponytail that kept it from her face as she rode. She approached him and bowed her head and raised her hand against her chest in the tradition salute of the soldiers who served under his reign. Her parents had drummed the correct etiquette in to her as a youngster… Both of them had come from different sides of the same coin, each taking pride in the status with in their relevant communities they had worked long and hard to secure… even once her mother left her roles as one of lady Galadriel’s guard, she had always been treated like one of them ever time she made the journey to realm of her birth.. It was because of those connection she had managed to over turn her original decision to stay with her husband in middle earth and secure her self a place on one of the final ships to leave for the west after his death. Élra missed them most of all at time like these, when she needed to be formal with out the structure of training to lead her the right way.
With defiant confidence she looked up again… “My lord, Élraina LÓminís daughter of Astalner and Mallwen” she smiled her deep eyes shining as a long strand of her fringe fell down across her face… She blushed slightly and swept the hair away be hide her ear “may I join you in a drink my lord” she asked casually as she stepped closer to the bar and motioned to the bar tender what she wanted
Taking the mug that she ordered she turned back toward the master elf with a relax grin… the cool light ale was nothing in comparison to the kick that came from a dwaven brew but for once she was glad that it had been the lighter ale she was served.. At least she would be able to keep her head straight and her thoughts un cluttered. Realising she he did not have a mug himself she nodded “what is your poison … A rich wine, light ale or a small tipple of home brewed liquor “she questioned as she called the bar tender over towards them again.

Lord Telarath watched as the door opened and was much pleased, as there were not that many inhabitants left in Imladris after the War of the Ring. When the lady stepped through the door, he was much suprised. It had been quite sometime since he had seen one of her beauty. As he watched her body language, he could tell that she was very formal and that he always admired. When she had finished introducing herself, Telarath began to speak. "M'lady, it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance. It would also be my pleasure to have you join me for a drink." Telarath said as he began to follow her to the bar. He smiled as she tool charge, so to speak, and ordered her drink then inquired about his. "I think that I should enjoy a rich wine, red maybe."

Aerianeth smiled, Telerath had certainly made his mark on the place, she silently thought. She pushed the large doors open and made her way to the bar. Nodding to Telerath in greeting, she asked, "Telerath, you got any ale? You certainly get a burst of thirst after a hard day's training." She smiled to herself, a poet in the making, she joked with herself.

Élraina smiled at Telarath “then wine it is M’lord” she nodded and motioned to the bar keep who in turn carefully poured a large glass of his finest red wine... Lifting it carefully she watched the deep crimson drink twirls around the glass then she turned back just as the Lady of the Valley herself entered the Pub... she blushed as she realized her hand were full and she could not salute ...”welcome Lady Aerianeth” she said as she handed to glass towards Telarath.
Suddenly feeling a little out of place, maybe they wanted to be alone she wondered to her self. She was unsure of the relationship between the two rulers but it was not her place to judge or question. “I am Élraina LÓminís daughter of Astalner and Mallwen, it is my honor to be in such esteemed company” the elf maiden said proudly. Her eyes flicked momentarily towards the handsome face of elf she had just handed the wine to, feeling a pang of sadness that the moment alone with him, that she had dreaded so much only moments before, was lost. “ I was going to keep Lord Telarath company since he was alone but now you are here my lady I will take my leave, I am sure the company of a soldier is not what you wish after a hard days training”
Élraina hesitated a second, confused by her own thoughts... part of her, the part that had been couched by her parents, had her turning to leave but there was a little nagging feeling that she wanted to stay and converse with them, with him, that stopped her stepping away. As her thoughts turned to Telarath again she kicked her self mentally, she was from a good family but that didn’t give her the right to covert one in his position, even if for some reason that she could not fathom, her heart wished it. Finally she gave up trying to fight the desire to walk away with out first asking if her company was wanted “though if it pleases you both I would happy to stay and enjoy a drink with you” she asked as she turned the mug of ale in her hand nervously.

Tinaldor wandered in, his clothes, even though they were casual, the purple, black and gold robes displayed his royalty. His favourite short sword was strapped at his side, and he flexed his new arm, which Gandalf had given to him. Finding his way to the bar, he saw the two leader's of the kingdom, and the young she-elf he had come across earlier in the Barracks. He grinned, and making his way over there, he saluted the two leaders. "I hope I am not interupting anything friends?"

It was a small child that entered, 7 year old Ikali, a shy but troublesome elfling. With blond curls tucked neatly under the hood of her grey travelling cloak, blue eyes bright and alert. This was her first time to the hidden valley of Imladris, and she was unsure of who to trust. Being raised in Mirkwood as the kings adoptive daughter after her own parents abandoned her, she was well trained in all fighting arts, having lived in such a hostile place with all the spiders. And yet, the child looked as gentle and innocent as a newborn lamb, deceptive to say in the least. An elvish sword was hidden by her cloack, as well as several small daggers hidden on her person. A small smile was given to Lord Telarath as she passed, yet she said not a word, finding a table and silently taking a seat. A large black wolf took a seat at the door of the inn, always protecting and watching the young Ikali. She rather had a tendency for getting herself in trouble, and Flame was always there to get her out. It was the way she had lived for a long time. When her adopted mother died in Mirkwood, Ikali had run, leaving her father and brother to rule Mirkwood without her. Her fathers royal signs were well hidden by her cloack, and the elfling did her best to try and act and look inconspicous. She held herself like royalty, but didn't have the commanding presence that usually came with being the kind of person she was. Indeed, she was a very shy young girl, preferring to be along with her animals that chatting to people. And she asked herself this questions, why had she come here?

Lord Telarath was taking his glass of wine, when he noticed the doors of the Inn open. His eyes lit up and a smile came across his face when he saw that it was the Lady Aeri. He excused himself from Elraina and made his way over to where his partner in rulership stood. He gently took her hand and kissed it softly. "My Lady Aeri, I had wondered where you might be and now you seem to have read my thoughts and have shown up. I take it all is well with you?" The Lord of the Valley asked as he led her over to where Elraina stood. "I should like for you to meet my newfound friend." As he did so, Telarath noticed Tinaldor walk in. He nodded to his friend and spoke. "Nay, indeed you are not interrupting." Telarath said as he noticed an elf-child enter the Inn. He kept an watchful eye on her, for he always did worry about the children.

Élra smiled and nodded as Telarath excused himself and wander over to meet the Lady of the valley. Her heart gave an unexpected lurch as she watched him kiss his ruling partners hand. Jealousy was not a quality she normally gave her she to but she could not help it. Trying her best she hid the feeling and smiled sweetie as the handsome Elf introduced her to Lady Aeri again. “It is my pleasure “she said as she bowed never taking her eyes from him. Carefully she lifted her glass of ale to her mouth and took a refreshing drink. She nodded again as Tinaldor entered not a moment later, unsure of her position she stood towards the back of the group and let the rulers gather together. Her mind wandered to the gardens and the bubbling of the streams, it was peaceful and free. Guiding the glass to her mouth again she finished her drink and slid the empty mug on to the bar top, holding up her hand to stop the bar keep refilling it. “I will take my leave, thank you for the drink” she directed the last comment in Lord Telarath's direction and looked at him with longing, Her eye wet with unspent tears before dashing from the inn.

Tinaldor watched intently as Elraina dashed from the inn. She was going through the emotional changes that were highly challenging. Learning to take control and harness the over hightened senses and feelings was a challenge to say the least, but he was sure she would handle it just fine. He turned to Telerath, and smiled. "It would seem that Imladris thrives in its spring my friend. Life seems to be gathering here again. .... It seems so long ago now, that I ruled in my first lordship in this land. You have done well here."

Aerianeth noticed Elraina's sudden dash out of the inn and bit her lip in sudden thought. As she saw the last flick of Elraina's clock leave the inn, she turned her attention to Tinaldor and Telerath. "Well, it's been quite an experience to say the least my friend." She slapped him on the back before picking up her ale, putting it to her lips and taking a quick sip. "I'm sure it can only get better Tinaldor. Telerath has certainly proved himself a worthy leader of Rivendell." She smiled softly, but felt herself blushing, so she turned round and stared into behind the bar.

Telarath watched as Elraina dashed from the Inn. He could not be sure what the matter was, but he did intend to find out. For now, though, he would keep his mind on what was taking place here and now. He turned his attention to Tinaldor and listened as his comrade spoke. "I am glad that you have confidence in me, but I do not do it alone. I have Lady Aeri here to assist me." Telarath said as he smiled at Aeri.

"Well with you two ruling this kingdom together, I am sure your kingdom can only have more fruits. The fact that a Dark Elf, and a Light Elf rule together on the same throne is an achievement in itself."
