As Telar awaited the response from Lady Aeri, he noticed Elra. He smiled warmly at her and gently nodded. Whence his fellow co-ruler answered him, Telar removed his cloak and sat down beside her. "M'lady, I just thought that it would be nice for us to get to know each other better." Lord Telar said as he shot a glance over to the bar.....another ale would be nice about now.

Tinaldor grinned and laughed heartily, now fully drunk, as Ara led Austin out of the pub. "Get in there Austin! Its about time you two made some babies!" He laughed more and banged his mug on the table.

Ara froze completely.even her eyes showed her mood change turning to a cold gray.her face went entirely expressionless,a sudden chill filling her.she turned and looked Tinaldor in the eyes.she then spoke softly:"you want to get up from that table Tinaldor Nenharma.you want to go outside and go clear your head from whatever notions and effects from that ale are in it.and you WILL go sober up and you WILL do it right now.I may have carried your children but I am not a breeding mare.come and talk to me when you have more in your head than rutting Lord."she turned and walked from the pub slamming the door behind her.

Tinaldor grinned. "Unusual for the lady to not take a joke. I blame the hormones. Anyway, back to the drinking!"

Outside the pub: Ara's legs took her to the back of the pub.to the little garden that was there.she felt Austin's emotions through their bond and she got up and jumped the pub wall making her way through the back to the bar room.she unbound her hair and let it fall down her back and undid the high necked tunic's top two catches.revealing her pendant as she went.her eyes were a icy gray as she spoke.this time a soldiers voice."Sir. if you insult me again I shall personally call Melkora and let her see you this way.now Get Up from that table and sober up Tinaldor."she stood gazing at him as if she was bored.she'd put a mocking tone into her voice.she knew the game that she was playing was a dangerous one but she didn't care.

Tinaldor stood up, and didnt even talk to the two rulers. If they were so emotional at that time, it was best for their sake he didnt make a scene. He cared about them enough as friends to do as they said. Even though he didnt like them treating him like this. Where was their sense of humour, banter? He was no moron. Never mind. He wandered out and dissappeared out of sight, making sure not even Austin would be able to find him.

Ara looked into his eyes and said quietly:"that is what I am Austin.I am a warrior,a soldier, whatever you wish to call me that is what I am.I am the captain of a lot of men and that is what I will remain.the voice just comes with the job."she rubbed her hands over her arms.then said quietly:"want to go for a walk in the garden's love?I think I could use some fresh air.."

Post by Targuhl Dawneater on Jun 13, 2006 10:01:32 GMT -5
Targuhl enters the pub, a scarf keeping the fog out of his face, a hood drawn up over his eyes, a large black, tattered, weatherworn cloak clasped at the shoulder with a rusty iron broach, in the fashion of the men of the north, with a dragon inscribed in it. He orders a glass of red wine, and some bread and cheese, he takes his glass into a corner ,he is cold as he sits away from the fire, in the dark, he pulls the scarf up over his face, when his bread and chees comes he eats a small portion, and wraps up the rest and puts it into some wallet or pouch or other under his cloak, long journeying has made him habitually unwasteful, as he puts his bag away the faintest glint of bright mithril shimmers from under his cloak, all in the pub stop their chatter, but seeing that the stranger has nothing to say they go back to their idle talk. Brooding over his wine the elf notices Austin enter, through a back door of the pub, obviously this elf is royalty, obviously he is warrior, and obviously he knows something of the mystic arts. Deciding to approach the elf-lord, the Dawneater stands up.
Hail, Lord! I am Targuhl Dawneater, I offer my services to you as a hunter, in return, of course, for a fee.

[from The Hunting Trip] Targhul, upon entering the small inn, and enquiring quietly something of the grim-looking landlord, booked a room indefinitely, when asked how his esteemed guest the mysterious stranger would be paying for this "indef'nate 'bode" the small and ugly half-elf was met with such a scowl that only a proud and noble elf-prince would give and shown a flash of glowing white mithril, the fat innkeeper guessed that his guest was an old aquiantance of his and that the magnaminous Mr. A. Grubknot, proprieter of the 'Mist and Shadow' would be treating his old friend, Mr. T. D. Barmansbane apparantly was his name, to a prolonged stay in his humble little freehouse.

Upon re-entering Nan Elmoth, Targuhl walked into the pub, ordered a red wine and some food, and sat down by the fire. When the innkeeper brough The Thief his food he aksed, "Is there anything else I can get for you, sire?" As a matter of fact there is, replied the Elfling, Could you tell me where i might find the lrd Austin? The innkeeper instantly replied, "Of course, sire, he is to be found in the Gardens at this time of night, do you know the way?He did.
Finishing his small meal, the hunter went off in search of his liege-lord.
