He grinned and winked teasingly at her. "Then again I know what you are like with youre share too many... " He laughed to himself at the thought, and sat down on a stool. A moment of sober realisation hit him. How long would they be able to laugh like this? Soon, the enemy would come, and laughter, and good memories would be forgotten.

Aeri laughed heartily with Tinaldor, but quietened when she saw the distant, sad look on Tinaldor's face. "Something wrong?" she near-whispered.

Tinaldor kept the smile up, not wanting to attract attention or dishearten the men. "Aeri, how long will this last? all these memories, good times, will be forgotten. How long before our memories, and laughter, fade into nothingness. Not even the wind will whisper of our deeds... Valor will mean nothing.... Dont get me wrong, I have hope in this on coming battle... but I have to be realistic... the omens arent good."

Aeri smiled weakly, trying her best to think of a response. "Tinaldor, we will defeat this enemy. Our armies together are unstoppable. Ask any of our defeated enemies. Oh yes, that's right, they can't reply. They're dead. Just like this next enemy will be." She smiled a little brighter then she did before, secretly applauding herself for her use of words.

Tinaldor chuckled lightly. "I trained you too well..." He grinned more, as something came to his mind. "I can imagine, all the heroes of Middle-Earth, whether good or evil, fighting for survival, together... " A cheeky grin curled his lips revealing his teeth. "And with me leading you lot, we cant lose!"

As the mood had lightened, she added. "You're so full of yourself Tinaldor." She chuckled, took another sip of ale and glanced around her. She suddenly realised in a strange moment of normality how much her fellow rulers meant to her. How much Middle Earth meant to her and how much being alive meant to her. She'd fight this battle, she'd win this battle and she'd do anything to protect her fellow rulers. She sighed, downed her ale and slammed the glass down on the table. "I'll get the next round," she said with a wink.

Tinaldor shrugged. "Ive good reason to be full of myself!" He laughed, and grinned. "Good, I could do with another beer.."

Aeri smiled and got off her barstool to head to the bar. She ordered another round of ale and only just managed to take all the large beer mugs to the table without a spill. "Drink up fellas'! Let's take advantage of the ale while we have it!" she said, with a slightly tipsy grin.

Tinaldor cheered along with the men as the beers arrived and grabbed a beer. He took a long slow draught from it, really starting to relax and lose his inhibitions.

Aeri grinned cheekily, before grabbing her beer mug and downing the whole pint in one go. She blinked. "Wow! That's some pretty decent stuff..." she said, a slight taint of slurring on her words. She turned around to face the bar and caught the bar man's attention. "Another round please!" She laughed heartily for no reason at all, then turned back round to face the others. She'd missed these times when she had left. It was nice to be back, doiny what she did best.

Élraina laugh along as story were passed around the table, she had smiled warmly as Lady Aeri had enter but her arrive had left the younger she-elf sudden less confident. She would never be able to compete with Aeri’s beauty or her skills as a warrior or at least that is how she felt. Her blood boiled silently as she watched the obvious connection between her and Tinaldor, biting her lip she turned her attention back to the soldiers, burring the jealously deep trying her hardest to hide it before either of them could get wind of it. As she listened to the solders talking she casually draped her arm around the shoulders of the dark elf whose chin she had nicked with her dagger. He flinched at first and shot her a quizzical look but soon seamed to accept her attention when she smiled and winked at him.

Aeri noticed the sudden quietness of Elraina. She glanced at Elraina, trying to figure out why she seemed so silent. Maybe some ale may lighten her mood. "Elraina, you want some ale? There's plenty to go round." Aeri smiled reassuringly. She liked Elraina, and wanted to keep her spirits up, not only as a soldier but as a friend.

Élraina relax at Aeri's suggestion of more Ale. She was not jealous of the She-elf after all it was the closeness the pair seam to share that she envied. “M’lady another glass would go down a treat” she patted the soldier who she had draped herself around and after flashing a grin towards the other female she leant down whispered something in his ear that almost made him blush visibly then kissed him softly on the cheek and moved away with out looking back.
“It seams even a little whisper can have even dark elven blushing” she giggled and took the ale from Aeri. “thank you M’lady, forgive my quietness the new emotions and reaction my training is subjecting me had me pulled from pillar to post sometimes” she lent closer so that only the She elf could hear “every where I look there is temptation, if I do not fine my self a mate soon I may end up with one of them” she motioned over to the soldiers who had returned to their ale and tales
