So it Begins...
Though many tales have been told, this unfolding story of power, honour, and a fight for freedom, shall forever be remembered, although if not in memory, always, in our hearts. The quest of the kingdoms of Middle-Earth, united, to take back the war to their aggressors. For Freedom. For Love. And for Memory.

((Interesting idea... I like it! ^^))
To Azrael, this was about ending the war once and for all. He had lost too many close ones. He had already came into contact with the demon lord, and if it wasn't for Austin daving him at the last minute, Azrael too would be among the people already killed trying to save middle earth. Azrael for one hoped that at least Tinaldor, Austin, and Ara would make it through this battle alive.

For Aerianeth, death did not exist. She knew it was there, but she refused to believe it. She did not fear death and fought it off at every opportunity. She was not simply fighting for Middle Earth, but she was fighting for life. The ultimate screw-you to death. It was moments like these that made Aerianeth's life, gave her a purpose, a reason. She was prepared for anything and everything and knew even if it was her turn to be claimed by death, she would not die without a fight.

Tinaldor had been a warrior, a fighter all his life. He only got where he was, through audacity in battle, and a courage that sometimes was compared to stupidity. But this war had been his making, he was in his element. Perhaps this would be his last war. A final battle. Perhaps he would meet his death, his name to be remembered in songs, dying how he knew he was destined to. Or maybe this would just provide him with the more power and the glory that he inside sought.... He would soon see. For now, he fought for glory, for the chance to raise a family, for his love, and for the chance that one day... his unending thirst might be quenched. Whatever happened, he was ready for what might be thrown his way. He would overcome.

Azrael walked with hs fellow warriors, following Austin as he led the way. The scenery had quickly turned from a nice green plain, to a not so dense forest. Azrael spoke out to Austin, who was at least five metres ahead of him.
"It's a marvel, my brother, how you can lead us after this demon, even though he passed out of sight at least half an hour ago. A much more useful thing to know than fighting in my opinion..."

They had been trecking South East now for quite a while, slowly trudging their way through a sparse forest. This was land he'd never been to before, so Tinaldor was quick to note down any landmarks or such like things if they were to find their way back.
"When you've fought in many wars for countless years, you learn how to track a foe, my friend. Though still, I am in awe as to how quiclky Austin does it. I can track, but his skill is far beyond mine. It would take me hours longer!"

Austin turned to the others "please whisper, we aren't that far behind him now" it was true, they weren't, the tracks were becoming fresher all the time "i dont know whether he's on to us, or he just moves slowly but we seem to have gained pretty quickly"

"Is it possible for demons to get tired?" Azrael asked. After all... The demon hasn't been given any good refreshments recently...

Austin considered "it may be..."
For Austin, this was about securing a future for his family, with these demons eliminated himself and Ara could live in peace and perhaps build a family. If it came to it, he would give his life to protect Ara's but he hoped it wouldn't come down to that; he wanted to spend many many years with her before they parted via any method

"Perhaps it would be wise to make camp for a while. if hes getting closer, then lets stop, let him get ahead on us again, make contact with the chasing group, then carry on?"

"I didn't realise we weighted the men with full equipment," Azrael replied.
"I for one didn't bring a tent with me... Just food and water. Would anyone mind sharing?"

Austin nodded "that would indeed be wise" he turned to Azrael "our support group should be bringing our tents"

"Aha, that's ok then," Azrael replied, grinning.
He felt tired anyway.
Never a good thing to fight tired... Or on an empty stomach...
