Back on topic of the thread.... here is a quote that I found on a horse website.
'Force will never produce anything beautiful, we cannot use force with our horse. We want to show him in the beauty of his natural movements, therefore we have to treat, handle and restpect him as our friend. What a friend he can be, horses don't let you down.' Franz Mairinger

Greenslade: "Hmmm... It's wet in here."
Moriaty: Yes I know... The tide came in!
Greenslade: *shocked look*... Uninvited!?!

My poem I wrote awhile ago.
Alice in Wonderland
'Close your eyes, Alice in Wonderland' 'The dark is friend, not foe.' Were the conforting words to me
So many time has I heard the words My grandfather said to me I never chose to believe him The dark was never my friend
The night my light went out Was the day the void moved in
'Sleep well, Alice in Wonderland Remember the dark is your friend' I watched him close the door I was truly alone now
Instead of morning bustle Silence was what greeted me The night had been so dark For little Alice in Wonderland
Where had he gone? 'Where is my grandfather?' 'He followed the white rabbit, Alice He is in wonderland now.'
In Wonderland? 'When will I see him again?' The silence grew 'Only in dreams, Alice, in Wonderland.'
Never had I been there The light was always on And then the lights went out And grandpa went to Wonderland alone
How could he leave me behind? We were supposed to go toether
Do I see him anymore? Only in Wonderland When all the lights go out.
This poem has a bit of a story behind it. You might have guessed, my name is Alice. My grandfather used to call me Alice in Wonderland. And I used to hate the dark. I was staying at my grandparents house once, and the power went out. It was the first time I had ever slept without a light (I was 6 at the time) and when I woke up, my grandfather had died. I blamed it on the dark for a long time, but I know better now. Cancer.

*makes note of this*
Ballad of Soporific Absorbtion Ho! Ho! Yes! Yes! It's very all well, You may drunk I am think, but I tell you I'm not, I'm as sound as a fiddle and fit as a bell, And stable quite ill to see what's what. I under do stand you surprise a got When I headed my smear with gooseberry jam; And I've swallowed, I grant, a beer of lot - But I'm not so think as you drunk I am.
Can I liquor my stand? Why, yes, like hell! I care not how many a tossed I've pot, I shall stralk quite weight and not yutter an ell, My feech will not spalter the least little jot: If you knownly had own! - well, I gave him a dot, And I said to him, 'Sergeant, I'll come like a lamb - The floor it seems like a storm in a yacht, But I'm not so think as you drunk I am.
For example, to prove it I'll tale you a tell - I once knew a fellow named Apricot - I'm sorry, I just chair over a fell - A trifle - this chap, on a very day hot - If I hadn't consumed that last whisky of tot! - As I said now, this fellow, called Abraham - Ah? One more? Since it's you! Just a do me will spot - But I'm not so think as you drunk I am.
Envoi
So, Prince, you suggest I've bolted my shot? Well, like what you say, and soul your damn! I'm an upple litset by the talk you rot - But I'm not so think as you drunk I am.
