Discussions concerning both city and foreign affairs are usually discussed here. This is where the ruler and his advisors decide upon actions to be taken.

The messenger gave Eldarieth the message. It read:
Lady Eldarieth of Gondor,
We have made contact with the enemy. They are tougher than Urakai, and hard to kill, but we have scored a victory with minimal casualties. We have saved our allies, and completely annihalated the attacking army. We currently have a demon captive, in which we hope to get information from. I regret to announce that Fen'thik Windrunner was counted among the dead. He fought bravel till his last moment. I hope things are going well in Gondor.

Eldarieth looked up in hope, then saddness. She had known Fen'thik well...
She looked down and closed her eyes for a moment. When she looked up again, they were within her control again.
"I thank-you." she said. Then, "Have you rested? Would you care to join us in our evening meal in the hall?" she asked.

The messenger took her hand and rose, but didn't say anything. He didn't know whether it would be a good idea or not.

Eldarieth with the messenger, walked to the dining hall and found a spot near the centre, near most of the off-duty guards. She hoped the messenger would be comfortable there.

The messenger looked around nervously. He felt out of his league.

Eldarieth smiled quietly at the messenger's discomfort. She wished he could be at ease but if that could not happen.. "If it is not too much to ask, could you return to Lord Azrael as soon as may be? I would like you to inform him that we are holding up well, on our own, but not to take that as a way of taking his time in returning!" "We can give you a room to stay in, just ask the Captain of the Watch"
