Tinaldor grinned inwardly, the young she-elf was indeed switched on. But would Elraina resist the dark energies of the knife, and stay her own soldier...? His inward grin turned to an outward one as she drew the blade across her hand, and resisted the power. The red stain on the floor marked her commitment to her training. "Indeed, if I had doubted your courage and the dark roots inside of you, you would be dead before you set a foot in this room. You will still under the allegiance of Rivendell, and will remain so when your training is finished, unless you choose otherwise." "My job is to be ruthless in my training of you, and make you become a warrior far greater then you could ever be under the influence of the light. You will become one of the Avari, the Dark Elves. However, you must obey every order I give you, otherwise I will not complete your training. You have free roam of my kingdom. If you need anything of me, request it. A room has been prepared for you here, and you will sleep there. Your training will begin tomorow, you shall meet me here." Tinaldor motioned to a guard, a tall muscular Dark Elf, carrying a cruely carved halberd. The guard swiftly made his way to them, and bowed low to Tinaldor. "Please show the lady to her room. Please treat her with the utmost courtesy.." Tinaldor grinned slightly here, then carried on "and make her feel most welcome here." He turned as he heard his new friend Azrael enter the room. He was not sure what the man meant, but he could sense a rising anger in him. "I'm not sure I understand what you mean... I'm sure you'll explain."

Azrael rose.
"My friend... You speak of alliance to destroy a greater evil. If it is for the sake of all of us, then Gondor would be happy to join... However we seem to have a small disagreement. When I returned to my city, why is it that I had to hear that Tinaldor, lord of mordor, sends us gifts: The heads of innocent people from Rohan? What message were you trying to send?"

"I wished to strike fear into the heart of a people, without purpose and direction, and show them where power lied in Middle Earth. I desired to strike fear into both human realms with one stone, and I succeeded. I feel no remorse for the deed, and never will. Personally I didnt particularly enjoy cutting down people without weapons, I have some honour, but it was a deed needed doing. And I'm sure the small scare and mess caused by your 'mail problem' is hardly a reason to threaten the livelihood of the whole kingdom of Gondor. However, the decision is your Azrael Turnbull."

Azrael, I feel it is best you find out sooner rather than later, that Tinaldor hasn't always been worthy of having the trust of all the rulers in this Middle-earth. He has lied, he has betrayed, he has murdered without reason. He can never fully redeem himself, and has proven that he doesn't feel remorse for many of the things he's done, but for the moment at least, the rulers of Rivendell, and Nan Elmoth have pledged their armies to his leadership.

" Mithrandir is right, I am not a trustworthy character. I am the 'Dark' Lord of Mordor for a reason. Evil makes me strong, stronger than I could ever be. Despite my evil, I am seasoned veteran commander of many battles, and I have earned the respect of people in Middle-Earth through my exploits, such friends as Gandalf here, and Aerianeth will tell you so. For me, in battle, if you have to discard honour to win it, I will readily do so. However, this ensuing battle, I do not fight for personal gain... I fight for a future for my children, my fiance and I, and my people. So I believe you may trust me in these circumstance."

Azrael sighed.
"...So be it. I will fight for the protection of middle earth, but Gondor will not follow your rule without question. We are your ally, and not your pawn. Keep that in mind"
Funny. If it was fear you tried to strike in my people, you didn't get what you want. They now all want to hurt you and all of Mordor.
"We will discuss this again after the fate of middle earth has been decided. For now, I take my leave."
Azrael bowed, took five steps back, and then turned around and left. He looked around and eventually found Fen'thik.
"Prepare our horses, we're leaving. This is turning out to be more complicated than we thought."

Tinaldor grinned as the human ruler walked out of the throne room. At least he was on his side for the meanwhile... he would have to secure his friendship afterwards.

*BP walks into the room and runs in Azrael* "So sorry good sir! I am glad that you came to us. We need all the allies we can muster."

Azrael didn't budge when she ran into him.
"Sorry."
Azrael kept walking and turned around as he did so to reply.
"Yes, but it is a shame it needed to come to this."
Azrael got on his horse, nodded to Fen'thik, and rode for Gondor.

Tinaldor saw Melkora walk in, run into Azrael, who did not reply, and walked off. He made his way over to his Dark Queen, and grinned. "Apparently he didnt take kindly to the little message of Rohan innocents I sent Gondor.."

"No he did not. But that is in the past. We can do nothing about it now. Though I do repent our brash action there... I do not repent to Procneus. He needed to be thrown from his high horse for once."

"I've never been one to repent for my actions... at least now he knows of my true nature. In time that human will come to respect me."

"Don't speak of humanity with disdain. That is unbecoming of anyone. It bespeaks of jealousy."

Post by Élraina LÓminís on Mar 31, 2006 15:37:37 GMT -5
Élraina bowed to the dark lord and looked toward the guard he had chosen to show her to her room, The dark elf was lean, strong and even with the evil glint in his eye she found him fair to look at… she mentally shook herself, she was there to train and nothing more, yet she found herself being corrupted in more ways than she had considered.
Walking towards the doors of the throne room she passed a man (Azarel) who seamed to have a bee in his bonnet about something or another. Raising her hand she motioned for Lemor, the guard to wait, she wanted to here what he had to say to Tinaldor, unsure of her reasons she waited and watched from the shadows. Nothing that was said concerned her, but she could not pull her eyes away from the man. Her lustful thought about the guard had been push from her mind the moment he had brushed passed her… She waited silently as he fled from the room again then nodding to the guard, she continued on to her room.

Tinaldor noticed in the corner or his eye the lustful glance Elraina gave the guard he had assigned her. Good, her desire would be useful, he would use that against her. Little did that guard know how useful he had become. Lust and desire were one of the keys to evil, it was lust and desire of the stars that had corrupted him, all those years ago. Her evil was beggining to take hold of her. She would show much more such like traits as time went on. And he would push her to the limit, with ruthlessness.... He would question her on why she stayed to watch Azrael later..
