Azrael smiled.
"Oh good!" He lead them outside and took them on a tour around Minis Tirith...

Almost as soon as Fen'thik arrived, someone ran up to him and whispered into his ear that he was needed at an assembly.

*a few weeks later*
Élraina had ridden long and hard and although she was tired, she needed a drink more. Not just because of the thirst that come from riding but for the little courage it would afford her. She was nervous, an emotion she thought she had left behind when she started her training in the ways of the dark elf’s, under the watchful eye of Tinaldor. But she defiantly felt it now, bubbling away in the pit of her belly. Se had never been to Gondor before; the place had never had much of a draw for her, of course until she had laid eyes on Azrael. Now she felt a really need to be there, to see him again.
The young she-elf had no idea what or how she was going to do now she was here. It was hardly like she could walk in to his throne room and profess her undying love. Firstly she was not that good at expressing how she felt mostly because she was scared of rejection... and secondly in much the same vain, she was unsure if he had any feeling for her at all. The last time they had met was on a battle field, and hardly the place for a friendship never mind anything else to develop.
She wandered over to the bar and ordered a large foaming mug of ale, it was not the most lady like of drinks but even when she had been completely on the light side she had never really taken to wine or more delicate drinks… she guessed it was all the time she had spent traveling with her father as a child. Her really passion when it came to drink was dwarven ale... Orc bite preferably... she loved the tingling feeling the strong dark ale left in her legs. Élra pulled a stool close to the bar and slid on to it... sipping the ale slowly as she tried to formulate a plan of action for her stay, she didn’t even know where she could find a bed for the night, though in a busy city as it was she knew there would be an inn or two around that could accommodate her.

Azrael came into the bar with much haste and awlked up to the landlord.
"Sorry to disturb you Jack, but have you seen general Drakel? I need to speak with him, and he's gone for a walk again."
The landlord nodded and pointed to a table in the far corner. Azrael saw a man sitting their with a hood covering his face.
That's Cypher all right.
Azrael asked Jack for a pint of milk, and then walked over to Cypher with it.

Élraina looked up from her mug of ale as the sound of a familiar voice reached her. There not ten feet away was Azrael, he looked just as she remembered him, save for the fact he was not covered in the dirt and grime that had marred everything on the battle field at the foot of Isengard. She smiled and slipped from the stool and stepped towards him, it only took a few steps to close the distance between them but with each step she felt the pounding of her heart increase till she was sure the whole room could hear it.
“Your words didn’t do it justice, though I doubt there are word that could capture the beauty of your city completely” the elf maidens eyes sparkles as she spoke directly to the Gondorian. There was a relaxed but delicate tone to her voice that complimented her look... Far from the heavily armored warrior that she had been last time he saw her, she wore soft loose pants and a fitted cotton top, skimmed nicely over her curves. Her hair was still a little ruffled from the ride but it still shone in the sun light that flooded in through the windows on the far wall. Élra reached out and rested her hand softly on his arm “I couldn’t forget you” she whispered almost silently as she let her eye linger on his face.

Azrael heard a familiar voice behind him, and he turned to see Élraina.
When she put her hand on his arm Azrael felt very strange... as if he was at home.
"Aye, it is a very beautiful city... I must admit I did not expect to meet you here. Does Lord Tinaldor know you've travelled here?" Azrael asked softly... Almost forgetting Cypher's presence. Cypher cleared his throat, and Azrael turned again.
"Ah yes... Cypher, this is Élraina. Élraina, this is my General Drakel, commander of the Gondor army."
Cypher stood up, took Élraina's hand and kissed it.
"Pleasure to meet you m'am," he said.

Élra’s heart jumped as Azrael spoke, she could sense s warmth in his voice that was defiantly directed at her alone. For a moment time seamed to stand still and all she could hear was him and her heart beat. She heard his question but found she was unable to react till a cough behind him broke her focused concentration.
She smiled and nodded as He introduced her to his General... she had seen the man before but only from a distance, the day of the first battle against the demons when she had walked a while with the Gondorian ruler. The pretty dark elf’s cheeks flooded with color as the soldier took her hand and kissed it. She was no used to such attention, even though she was aware of the practice as a greeting, it was not something commonly used in the barracks of Mordor. .with a wicked sparkle in her eyes she fought to suppress a giggle at the thought of the orcs and dark elves greeting each other in such a manner.
“The please is mine for sure” she replied formally bowing her head slightly toward Cypher... turning again to Azrael but in a way she didn’t completely cut the general out of the convocation she smiled... “Well I hope that my arrival has been a nice surprise.” She focus a little more and almost without realizing it slid her hand down his arm till her hand almost rested in his “Do not worry about Lord Tinaldor, although I’m his apprentice I’m not originally from Mordor.. My home is in the valley of Rivendell. But as long as I’m diligent in my training, I remain committed and he never has reason to question my effort, then he places very few restrictions on my comings and goings”
Élra flashed a warm look at the general and then back again “I will be able to spend a few days here before I must return if you would like me to? “she felt her cheeks pink up again as she prepared to next question carefully in her mind before she asked it… she neither wanted to come across useless because she had neglected to find anywhere by her self.. Nor to pushy as if she was expecting him to work his time around her just because she had dropped on his door step on a whim... “ I’m happy the explore on my own if you have things you must do, we can always meet up later and I really must find somewhere to stay, cause no matter the beauty I don’t want to sleep in its street “

Azrael laughed at Élraina's last comment. He noticed Élraina's hand getting closer to his, but he didn't stop it. In his head there was a constant battle going on, and he couldn't decide which was winning. On the one hand, there was his feelings for Élraina. On the other, there was a shadow of danger caused by Tinaldor... What if he had deeper plans for this.
"You won't need to sleep in the street to stay here. This inn has some rooms for visitors. I'll pay the expenses if you wish. Right now though, I have to attend a memorial and put up a statue for Fen'thik Windrunner."
Cypher swigged back his beer as Azrael spoke this and thumped it on the table.
"We should get going," Cypher said. Azrael gave Cypher a look telling him calmly to be a bit more patient.

The dark elven warrior let her eyes settle on the far wall as Azrael spoke of the memorial service for his fallen soldier. She knew the pain of losing comrades and she even understood Cypher's desire to leave urgently…. She took a deep breath, in the back of her mind she could feel tension from the handsome Gondorian but it was unclear to her if it was the forth coming task he had to face or something to do with her. She hoped they would get chance later to talk more, but for now she would let it lie.
Turning to Cypher she nodded “your right you should make a move if that was your plan, I would not want to delay either of you” she hoped the general would accept that she didn’t want to get in their way. “ I will just take a minute more of his time I promise” she winked and flashed him a soft but subdued smile before moving round to face Azrael “ if you don’t mind, I would be honored to accompany you, im sure I can find a quiet spot at the back to pay my respects”

"That would be appreciated," Azrael replied. He couldn't think of much else to say, so he just turned on the spot slightly.
"Shall we go?" He asked. Noticing he hadn't finished his milk, he quickly picked up the half empty pint glass and downed the rest of it.
