"I've had cracked ribs before."Ara said with amusement in her voice.she gently touched his cheek and said:"here hold the end of the bandage."she lifted up the bottom of her shirt and began to wind the bandage around her ribs and she winced occasionally as she did so.she finished and tied off the bandage.she then stood up and said:"ah much better....they dont hurt as much"she sat down again and and laid her head against the back of the chair.

"And to very handsome men!"Ara smiled and then winced as her breathing caught again.she spoke quietly:"I need to stop getting into fights it takes a toll upon one..."she took another sip of whisky and put the bottle down on the table top.then she sat up straighter and let out a sigh of relief as she felt the aching from her ribs going away a little bit.she had been out riding when a gang of orcs had been foolish and decided to attack her.they had fled when she had killed one but one with a club had stayed and fought. during the battle he had caught her in the ribs..

Ara swallowed back the tears that threatened to come and closed her eyes.she spoke softly:"no-one wants to lose the one they love....ever.."her voice was quiet and she turned away.

Ara watched him go and thought"I look for the last time upon one who loved me and got loved in return" she spoke softly:"I will always love you Tinaldor. always even if you are gone..."her voice cracked on the last word and she sank down to one of the chairs and buried her head in her hands.

Ara looked up and said:"f-farewell my love..."she turned and took up the dagger he had cut himself with and threw it at the wall with all the force she could.it stuck there quivering and Ara sank down to the table in tears.
