Tinaldor stood waiting outside the Gates of Nan Elmoth, surrounded by the dense forest that lay around the city. He was waiting for the New lord, Austin. His black horse Nemphalos stood by his side, grazing at the grass that never grew in his new kingdom. Tinaldor was clothed in pure black, a few touches of Black and purple armour plating lined his cloak. On his right hip, his longsword was attached, and on his left, a quiver full of arrows. On his back, a Ash longbow. He had always enjoyed hunting, especially humans.

"Indeed, perfect weather as well. Well lets get straight to it. My orc scouts reported that a small incursion of humans has camped just south of mirkwood. Estimates the numbers around 100 - 150." Tinaldor jumped on his horse, and looked down at Austin. "Shall we ride?"

Tinaldor spurred his horse, and rode off through the woods. Riding down the south road out of the forest, he turned west, riding towards the south of mirkwood. After about and hours ride, they arrived near the encampment. Dissmounting, he signaled to Austin to do the same. "Better shore them up to a tree, and go on in on foot."

Austin nodded and dismounted, he tied his horse to a chosen tree "okay then" he said quietly, not wanting to alert anyone else to their presence. he checked to ensure that his equipment was all in order, he smiled and nodded to Tinaldor, indicating his readyness

Tinaldor tested to see if there was a wind. A very slight one, coming from the east. Seeing a man separate from the encampment probably on watch, he placed an arrow to the string, and sent one flying into the back of his head. The man collapsed to the floor. Noticing another watcher to the north of the camp, he lifted his bow, and shot high into the air. Whistling, the arrow sped on high, the fell from above onto the man, into the top of his shoulder, probably piercing his lungs. The man dropped. There would be no warning to encampment.

Austin noticed a man that Tinaldor had missed and sent an arrow of his own silently into the man's head. he chuckled quietly and motioned for Tinaldor to lead on

Drawing his sword, he grinned. Forming a large flame ball in his hand, he sent it cascading into a tent. The sound of screams rose the camp, as he strolled into the middle, his cruelly shaped long sword drawn. He never was one for pleasantries. "Morning!"

Austin rolled his eyes at the magic, it wasn't something he would ever use himself - the code of honour he had grown up with classed it as cheating. he drew his sword and kept in step with Tinaldor, waiting for a target to appear.
Austin saw a bowman draw back out of the corner of his eye and spun around, throwing one of his many throwing knives as he did so, he hit the bowman right between the eyes. As he turned back to Tinaldor, he was charged by someone wielding a sword, sidestepping the lunge, he cut the figure in half with his blade this certainly is fun

Tinaldor laughed. Austin certainly seemed to be enjoying himself. Slicing the head of one that charged him, he side stepped another, and cut a line down his back, as he crumpled to the floor. Holding the sword towards his body with the bottom of his hand, he ran through one behind him, and forward flipped over a particularly large one, catching his head between his feet, and twisting, broke his neck. Landing on the ground, he laughed, and shoved his sword through anothers face. "Having fun Austin?"

Austin was now surrounded but by no means being out done, he was using his reactions to the full, parrying blow after blow, returning them with death dealing strikes, soon he was standing alone in a ring of bodies, he heard Tinaldor's question and replied "Very much so" another human charged him, he flipped over the soldier's back and stabbed his sword through from behind, managing to pierce the soldier's heart. he withdrew his sword and walked back towards Tinaldor

Tinaldor grabbed one that attacked him, and ripping his head from his neck, he licked his lips as blood spurted in his face. There were about 20 left now, and they had began to flee. Tinaldor turned to face his friend. "Now the real fun begins..."

Tinadlor set an arrow to his string, and set off three arrows in succesion different directions. Three cries sounded. He sat down, and closed his eyes. "Lets give them a head start shall we?"
