Ara laughed softly and brought the blankets up around herself again and cuddled up against Austin.she was cold but it was a chilly morning also.she laid her head against his shoulder and said softly:"I'll probably be up and around later today love.but if I'm not I'll be at the healing houses."she smiled wanly.

Ara smiled at Austin and laid her head against his shoulder gently.she looked up at him and gently kissed him on the lips.

Austin put his arm around her and held her close to him, smiling back into her eyes that he still found hypnotising, he rubbed her shoulder gently and continued to gaze lovingly into her eyes

Ara relaxed at his touch and closed her eyes letting herself drift in peace in his arms.she knew there was a time that the sapphire pendant would be remade but she knew also it would be a different stone and that it would be of less power than the first.but her brother's words still haunted her.

Austin enjoyed feeling her in his arms, he rubbed her shoulders comfortingly and felt his eyes close, drifting off to sleep gently

Ara watched Austin drift off into sleep again and whispered:"sleep my beloved.there will be many times in future when neither you or I have the chance to."she closed her eyes and listened to his breathing and felt herself falling asleep between one breath and the next.

Later that day:
Ara woke in Austin's arms and looked at the position of the sun.it was mid-morning.she stretched and slid from the blankets softly not wanting to wake Austin and to let him sleep.she stepped to the closet and took a white tunic from it and a pair of darker pants and drew them on silently.she then opened the door to the balcony and stepped out quietly letting the chill morning air wake her fully.she closed the door quietly behind her and sat down on one of the chairs and looked out over the gardens the sounds of laughing children drifting upto her and she smiled.

Austin was awoken by her closing the door, he looked around the chamber and rolled softly out of bed, putting on his clothing and walked towards the balcony door, opening it quietly he sat down on a chair next to her

Ara smiled calmly and kissed him back."I slept all right..at least I don't feel as ill as I did earlier anyways."she gazed into his eyes lovingly."how did you sleep my love?"
